Diana MacKay
Director, Education, Health and Immigration
The Conference Board of Canada

Diana is responsible for a wide portfolio of work at the Conference Board across the areas of education, health and immigration. Diana is also leading the development of intensified engagement with the Province of Saskatchewan.

As part of her work on immigration, in 2007, Diana created the Leaders’ Roundtable on Immigration, an executive network comprising representatives from government, business and the non-profit sectors. The Roundtable has produced reports on Immigrant-Friendly Businesses, Immigrant-Friendly Communities, and Immigrants as Innovators. The Roundtable has also supported a far-reaching series of events across Canada that focus on the immigration advantage.

Diana previously spent ten years with the World Bank in Washington D.C. where she was involved in the creation of the Human Development Network – the part of the World Bank that oversees all lending for education, health and social protection.

Diana earned a BA from Wellesley College in Boston, incorporating a year at Tokyo’s Waseda University.

She later gained insights to the Japanese business world as the sole foreign woman working within a traditional Japanese manufacturing firm of 3000 employees.

She has a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government

Colleen Neil-Dal Bello
Senior Career Management Consultant, Right Management

In her role with Right Management, Colleen works with clients to assist them through the transition process and develop a search and marketing strategy. She has been instrumental in designing and delivering some of Right’s core sessions as well as enrichments that focus on the concept of “marketing yourself as a candidate” to the external marketplace, including Formal and Informal Networking, Image and Its Impact, as well as specialized sessions on Interviewing. With over 12 years of experience in the Executive Search industry, Colleen is able to provide insight and guidance based on exposure to the assessment and selection practices utilized by companies and decision makers.

Colleen leads the Right’s Market Connections teams, a concept that brings individuals together in small groups to create a self directed job search team. This offering is unique to Right Management and has received rave reviews from clients across the board providing an opportunity to connect with other clients and provide focus, support, ideas and best practices to each other throughout their job search.

Colleen has a strong background in leadership development originating with Junior Chamber International, a 400,000 member organization focused on developing leadership of young business people. She has held local, regional, national and international roles including National President where she led a Board of Directors representing all Canadian geographies. Colleen is an International Graduate of the JCI Training Institute and has delivered training programs around the world. Her delivery style is engaging, high energy and interactive. She is highly regarded for her presentation and training skills in team building, leadership development, and “train the trainer” programs.

Colleen earned her designation as a Certified Management Consultant, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. 

Herman Tange
Chief Sales & Treasury Officer, ING Direct Canada

Herman Tange is the Chief Sales and Treasury Officer, currently overseeing the Sales & Service, Mutual Funds and Treasury departments at ING DIRECT Canada.

Since completing ING’s Global Management Program (GMP) over 10 years ago, Herman has held several positions within the organization including Relationship Manager at ING Bank and Corporate Secretary Executive Committee Europe at ING Group. He later joined the ING Direct USA team where he started as Vice President of Commercial Lending and later moved to the IT team as the Head of Data Services.

His most recent position was that of Deputy CFO at ING Direct Head Office, where he was responsible for the teams Business Development & Planning, Capital Management & Investments as well as Finance & Accounting.

In 2008 Herman moved to Canada to oversee the Sales & Service and Strategy functions. He is a member of the Executive Committee of ING DIRECT Canada and is passionate about making banking easier, better understandable and more convenient for customers.

Herman holds a Ms Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Taimour Zaman
Managing Director, The Access Group

Taimour is one of the foremost authorities in causing achievement and transition by putting together and inspiring teams from various communities across the world.

Taimour is also the co-author of Thinking Outside The Bowl: Accelerating Your Business Genius, and a director for organizations such as CATA Alliance, 3D On The Net and Knowledge Media.
