The Human Resource Training & Development Department is seeking applicants for a Career Management Program Manager to design, develop and implement a talent management program for full-time employees of the University. The Program Manager would develop on-going programs and services that explore career options relative to employee individual needs, department priorities and work closely with university units to help align these goals with the University's strategic plan of retaining and recruiting talented professionals.
The Program Manager will focus their efforts primarily on talent management strategies for university employees, while creating career advancement initiatives that build upon the planned technical infrastructure and programatic opportunities to increase employee retention. The Program Manager will also consult with Training & Development professionals to design and implement career-related training and education programs for university employees.
The Program Manager will also hire and supervise a career counselor to work specifically with individual employees concerning career/life planning issues, with a particular focus on issues related to career advancement.
Minimum requirements are a Master's degree plus two years related experience, or the equivalent.
